The Cafe Femenino Foundation in partnership with the Union Pro-Agro Cooperative in Bolivia has identified a need to rebuild the coffee nursery destroyed by the storm that ravished the area in December 2008. In this area, the livelihood of the farmers living there depends on the coffee crop. With nearly 450,000 plants destroyed, the Cafe Femenino Foundation proposes emergency aid to replant a portion of the lost crop.
